JP Little
EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT
PRODUCTS & SERVICES
JP Little is the Executive Vice President, Products &
Services. In this position Mr. Little is responsible for system
engineering and technical operations, product management, and the
integrated delivery of e-prescribing services to stakeholders
including payers, prescribers, pharmacies and hospitals. He
is also responsible for those functions in support of the clinical
interoperability and lab initiatives underway at Surescripts.
Previously he was acting CEO and chief operating officer for
RxHub. Mr. Little's first role at RxHub was that of chief
information officer. Prior to that he was vice president of
advanced technology at iMcKesson, a division of McKesson
Corporation, the world's largest drug distribution and healthcare
technology company. Mr. Little also served as vice president of
technology and operations at Abaton.com, Inc., a developer of
web-based physician connectivity services and applications, which
was acquired by McKesson in 1999.
Mr. Little's professional experience also includes serving as vice
president of the Advanced Technology Center at United HealthCare
Corporation and a variety of roles at Control Data
Corporation. He is also Chairman of the State Council of
Trout Unlimited.
Mr. Little received his MS degree in computer science with a
concentration in artificial intelligence from the University of St.
Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. He attended St. Olaf College and
received a BS degree in computer science from the University of
Minnesota, College of Science and Engineering.
