E-Prescribing Initiatives
The following is a partial list of state, national and
regional based programs that are designed to help with the
adoption and utilization of electronic prescribing
technology.
Many organizations - including state governments, payer
organizations, medical associations and software vendors -
have developed special programs to encourage prescribers to
adopt e-prescribing technology. We are pleased to provide a
partial listing of such programs below.
This listing has been organized by national level programs, state/regional level programs and programs offered directly by physician technology vendors. There are also special programs focused on the adoption of electronic health records (EHRs), systems which may include e-prescribing components certified to connect to pharmacy computers.
