What sort of clinical messages can be carried through Surescripts’ network?
In addition to electronic prescription information - the most common electronic clinical message in the U.S. - the Surescripts Network for Clinical Interoperability allows doctors to share an array of clinical messages - discharge and visit summaries, patient charts, referrals, lab orders and results - and other types of clinical messages required to manage care of patients.
